The drinks are playful with a variety of imaginative multi-spirit blends and carefully prepared, house-made infusions and syrups. Their most popular signature cocktails include Emperor Yao’s Pleasure, made with pandang-infused Tanqueray gin, pomegranate, lime and Chinese five-spice syrup, and Enter Prosperity, a rum-based cocktail. 2. Kakapo
Located in the quaint lanes of Mehrauli, New Delhi, Kakapo is a newly launched restaurant and bar. This elegant resto-bar is an ode to the flightless bird of the same name. The establishment features large floor-to-ceiling windows and an imposing faux tree with quaint lamps hanging from its branches. Kakapo’s cocktails are complex and employ techniques like clarification, sous vide, dehydration and fermentation. Order their Elderflower cocktail, a peppermint-infused gin concoction with longan and osmanthus cordial topped up with elderflower carbonated water or the Coffee cocktail comprising a combination of homemade amaro syrup with coffee kombucha and cacao whisky, and you will not be disappointed! Kakapo’s food offerings such as the Margherita Pizza, Tuna Poke, Edamame Kebabs, Balsamic Lamb Chops and Duck Puffs are the perfect accompaniment to their refreshing cocktails.

Located in Gurugram, this recently-launched resto-bar is spread across two floors. The first level is a restaurant that transforms into a nightclub at night and the second floor is an outdoor terrace lounge. Inspired by the cultures of East Asia, Ryu has a wide selection of signature cocktails. Peat and Great, Pink Pong, Jungle Bird, Pandrama and The Sacred Skull are some of their most popular cocktails. These visually appealing and appetising cocktails have been curated by Eric, an award-winning mixologist from Malaysia. Ryu’s food offerings comprise mouthwatering Asian delights such as Mongolian Crispy Chicken, Lamb Sesame, Kappa Maki Sushi, Thai Crispy Vegetable Lemon Chilli, Prawn Tempura, Nasi Goreng, Spicy Pork Dimsum and Indonesian Lamb Curry.
5. Bo-Tai Switch
Situated in Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, Bo-Tai Switch is restaurateur Zorawar Kalra’s latest offering in New Delhi. This fine-dining restaurant & bar features a well-stocked 60-feet-long bar and indoor and outdoor tables. Their beverage menu has been curated by mixologist Dino Koletsas, who is also the beverage consultant for Bo-Tai, Mehrauli. From their extensive drinks menu, try the Temple of the Lion, a classic rum-based fruity cocktail and the Full Moon Festival, a salmon-hued gin cocktail decorated with vibrant edible flowers. At Bo-Tai Switch, Chef Vikas Rana whips up tasty Thai and European dishes. We highly recommend their Preserved Raw Mango and Avocado Salad, Caramelised Crispy Prawns, Raw Mango and Soft Shell Crab Salad, Belgian Chocolate Tart and the Coconut Crème Brulee.
