Old Pulteney, comes from the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland, founded in 1826. Also, known as “the Maritime Malt”, this dram is unique for its salty notes which it imbibes from the sea. Casks of this rare expression have breathed the invigorating sea for a quarter of a century. It gets its spicy sweetness from being aged firstly in American oak, while its depth and colour come from being in Spanish oak casks later.
AROMA: Mature and fragrant with heavy spices and dark chocolate notes.
TASTE: Bitter chocolate and creamy vanilla with hints of toffee, followed by a long and spicy finish.

AROMA: Balanced and rich with hints of stewed fruit, toffee and citrus.
TASTE: Full bodied and mouth coating, with notes of salted caramel, dried fruit and spicy vanilla, which is followed by a long and creamy finish.

AROMA: Spicy and sweet, followed by a thin veil of warming wood smoke and oak embers.
TASTE: Citrus strikes the top note with hints of vanilla lingering in the background. The finish is long and smoky.

Balblair 25 Years Old:

This rare malt comes from one of the oldest working distilleries in the Scottish Highlands. With a heritage of carefully crafting vintage whiskies, the distillery shifted to aged whiskies last year. Since then, this indulgent malt has become a prized possession of many whisky collectors. Matured initially in American oak ex-bourbon casks, and then reshaped in Spanish oak for exceptional complexity, this rare expression becomes concentrated and full-bodied, brimming with the dark intensity of chocolate praline and spices.
AROMA: overripe apricots and dark liquorice stand out against polished oak and a touch of saddle wax

anCnoc 16 Years Old Cask Strength Limited edition

Celebrating its 125th anniversary last year, the anCnoc distillery launched a limited batch of 3000 bottles of this extra-ordinary malt. The techniques used at the anCnoc distillery have hardly changed in over 100 years, which ironically help to create the distinctive, modern flavour in the malt. This 16 Years Old expression has been matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength, offering an exceptionally light and elegant expression. With a pale, bright golden colour, the whisky brings hints of vanilla and butterscotch to the nose and refreshing citrus fruits on the palate.
Aroma: Sweet vanilla, notes of coconut & butterscotch toffee
Palate: Citrus, faintly spice, vanilla & green apple fruitiness
