Why Malibu rum is so popular?

Nothing can beat the 1980s-era coconut liqueur that is the world’s best-selling coconut flavored Caribbean rum. The rum was created by Thomas Jago, an Englishman who was a liquor executive who created both Bailey’s Irish Cream and Malibu. The rum directly transports the person to the tropics and it possesses an alcohol content by volume of 21.0 % (42 proof).

The rum is mixed well with Caribbean sugarcane, pineapple juice, and pure water then aged for two years in oak barrels. Malibu is distilled in Barbados in the Caribbean at West Indies Rum Distillery Ltd. Pernod says it’s a “flavored rum” and is distilled at “the famous West Indies rum distillery” in Barbados.

The first original Malibu drink is flavored with coconut. Also, there are many different versions of Malibu rum-like, banana, pineapple, passion fruit, island melon, and mango. Also, there is a blend with mint, known as Malibu Fresh, tequila known as Malibu Red, and a double strength version known as Malibu Black. The price of a 750 ml bottle is from 1,212rs. And a 1.75l bottle is from 1,893rs.

This summery and beachy sweet coconut and island rum is everybody’s favorite and can be blended with Cranberry juice, cola, ginger ale, grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, and coconut cream.
