THE PERFECT MANHATTAN

One cannot go wrong with a Manhattan. “Perfect” here refers not to the quality of the cocktail, but to the equal amounts of sweet and dry vermouth used to make it. This recipe creates a fantastic variation on the whiskey Manhattan and is a great way to use your favourite bourbon.

INGREDIENTS
• 60 ml bourbon
• 15 ml sweet vermouth
15ml dry vermouth
• ¼ tsp Angostura bitters
• Cherry
STEPS TO MAKE
Take ice in a mixing glass
Add bourbon, sweet vermouth and bitters
Mix well
Strain in the desired cocktail glass
Garnish with the cherry
